In Their Words

We are very pleased that we chose Jarrods for our stairs refurbishment.
The standard of work, timeliness and tidiness not to mention friendliness was top notch.
The resulting work has completely transformed our hallway. Thank you Jay!

Our staircase has been a long overdue project – 15 years later it is the best investments we have made in the house. The difference it makes is remarkable. From initial contact until the very end Jarrods have been nothing but super efficient, friendly and their workmen are polite and engaging and have exceptional skills and vision. The quality is second to none and they are flexible and very professional. We can highly recommend them. An enormous thank you to all of the team. The Foxes

We contacted Jarrods for a renovation of our staircase and cannot praise them enough. Anna, Allen and Richard were all incredibly helpful and gave their advice based on experience and supported us in planning the work we were hoping to achieve. Chris and Rio then undertook the work to an exceptional standard, paying particular attention to every small detail. We cannot thank all involved at Jarrods enough or recommend the company and the team more highly. We love the finished product.

We bought a Jarrod’s staircase about 5 years ago and we recently moved house. One of the saddest things about moving was leaving behind the wonderful staircase Jarrod had created for us. In our new house we discovered, on removing the stair-carpet, that we had broken treads and risers and we had no hesitation in getting in touch with Jarrods to build us a new one!
Last week it was installed and we are as delighted with this one as we were with the first! The quality of the workmanship and the finish is exceptional.
Our experience of dealing with Jarrods has been totally positive, from the first contact to the installation. They have kept us informed at every stage of the planning and construction. The fitters worked very long days to remove the old staircase and install the new one, ensuring that we were able to use the stairs safely to get to bed even though the installation was incomplete. They were also very nice people and we were very happy to have them working in our home.
Our new staircase is a joy and is not just a practical way of moving from one floor to another but a major feature in our home.
We have absolute confidence in the work of this company and are delighted to recommend Jarrods. Thank you all!

The pre install.phase was handled efficiently and quickly to provide a fixed cost quote. The installation team turned up on time, we’re very pleasant and friendly, caused virtually no damage to any surrounding surfaces and were very clean and tidy in how they went about their work. Above all, the quality of the product and the professional way it was installed has left us delighted.

From the first contact with Jarrods I felt as though I was dealing with a very professional company. First impressions for me are always important. From then on I knew that I had chosen well. The alternative finishes for my staircase refurbishment were clearly explained and helpful suggestions ensured that the result was even better than I had hoped for. A matching oak floor on our landing and similar oak window ledge has given our hallway a total transformation. Under stairs cupboards with touch action doors have kept the all important storage space easily accessible. We were given a starting date from the moment we signed the agreement. This was important to us as we had to co-ordinate a feature window replacement, pre installation decoration and existing oak floor sanding. Chris and Rio appeared on the dot each and every day throughout the refurbishment, working many hours to ensure we were left with a safe and useable staircase each evening.
Chris is a superb craftsman who was able to adapt any unforeseen problem with apparent ease.
From beginning to end everything went smoothly so we couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommended.

What a brilliant company! No pushy salesman but a qualified carpenter to price the job and give good advice, a visit by a surveyor who took meticulous measurements to ensure everything fitted perfectly, then a superb fitter, giving us a real piece of craftsmanship. A trouble free experience from start to finish. Well done and thank you Jarrods.

We are extremely pleased with our new staircase it looks absolutely beautiful and the fitters Chris and Rio could not have been more helpful and did a superb job
Would not hesitate to recommend Jarrods to anyone looking for a new staircase
Thank you to all the team at Jarrods

Pleasant purchasing experience with no pushy salesmen. Designer was extremely helpful in making small modifications to the design to satisfy Building Control. Work carried out on time by craftsmen who clearly took pride in their work, even making a couple of small modifications to the surround that we hadn’t thought of initially. Would highly recommend these guys as a team.
