In Their Words

Our glass balustrade exploded due to wrong installation. We were unable to find any company that would repair it until we were adviced to contact Jarrods. It was the best advice ever. They are professional, polite and competent. They tried to accommodate all our needs and they exceed expectations in terms of quality and service. We strongly recommend Jarrods as they are second to none.

Jarrods recently completed our stunning staircase renovation in glass and limed oak.
From the initial contact to project completion they were extremely professional. The project plan was executed perfectly.
It’s so refreshing to have everyone turn up when they say they will, and do what they say they’ll do, at the time they say they’ll do it.
The installers were highly skilled, working efficiently and effectively, consulting us as necessary.
The whole process was as easy as it could possibly be and we are delighted with the outcome.
Based on our experience, we have no hesitation in recommending Jarrods for any staicase related work.

After moving into our new house a few years ago we decided to upgrade our old staircase. We had a few quotes but decided that Jarrods Staircase was the right option for us. Since then we have had so many great reaction and compliments as the glass has allowed so much light into what is a long and was a poorly lit corridor. I recently contacted Jarrods to enquire about sourcing a small pot of paint and request some help to remove the glass. I couldn’t believe how quickly they responded and how supportive the team were. The fitter arrived within 48hrs to remove the glass and they then updated me to confirm that they were also sourcing a pot of paint for me. After all these years I wasn’t expecting much help but they have exceeded my expectations by treating me like I was a new customer. It’s been such a pleasure doing business with them and I can not thank everyone in their team enough for all their help. I believe they have a customer for life now!

I cannot compliment Jarrods Staircases enough. Their customer service is second to none. They came fully prepared to help us choose our new staircase with examples of woods, different fittings, glass, spindles etc. Their surveyor advised us of a couple of items that might not work so well with our staircase and his advice was invaluable. The design of the project was tweaked until we were completely happy with the plans.
When it came to the fitters, they were brilliant, their workmanship exquisite and they took the time to protect other parts of our home. I feel the price we paid was very fair for the quality and beauty of our new staircase. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this company.

Jarrod and his team have transformed our staircase form an outdated yellow oak eyesore to an amazing contemporary centrepiece. It’s fair to say we had a few initial install niggles, but Jarrod himself jumped in his car, drove to Surrey and had these fixed in no time. We are a very happy customer and would recommend their work 110%.

We researched a number of options before settling for Jarrods, not the cheapest or most expensive, but with the finished article to look at great value for this quality. We chose solid Oak and Glass it has transformed a utilitarian hallway into a lovely linking space with so much more light and space. The old stained softwood all out in one day, the new staircase the next, finished off on the third with no mess. Thank you

We are more than delighted with the beautiful staircase. It is a steep and narrow staircase and we didn’t think it could be made beautiful, how wrong we were! Alan came and showed us what was possible, Richard came to do the survey and Chris and Rio came for two days to install the staircase. These people are all consummate professionals. I don’t think we’ve ever had such a well planned project with no hitches at all.

From first to last nothing but excellent! Our impression of our first contact was good, he was pleasant and helpful. His advice was good and he was incredibly patient while we played with a few alternative ideas. The designer was even more so, he listened and turned our dream into a three dimensional design. Due to Covid there was a delay but we were kept well informed throughout. The fitters arrived on the agreed date, they were polite, helpful, considerate and tidy.
And the result? Even better than we had expected. Not the cheapest but they delivered the goods and exceeded our expectations. Thoroughly recommended.

Oh well, what can I say, Jarrods have pulled it out of the hat again, in 2017 a stunning staircase refurbishment with acrylic spindles, still looking stunning today. Now just finish a bespoke bedroom refurbishment for my foster daughter. The attention to detail is outstanding, every detail is carefully taken care of, and the fitters always tidy up behind themselves. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Now what other project can I find for them to do!!! Hmmm.
