In Their Words

We had our staircase renovated by yourselves last week (25-26th May) and just wanted to let you know how impressed we are with the work and also the service received.  We had several companies out to give quotes, all of which had sales on offering discounts etc. Jarrods however gave us a fair price without any pressure sales which attracted us from the outset.  Where other companies just sent a salesman, Greg Dean was able to give us real ideas and suggestions what we hadn’t considered to make a real feature of the staircase, he was also able to advise that jarrods could produce a bespoke wood stain to match the exact colour we were looking for.  In addition your fitters were fantastic, they worked so hard for two days to ensure or staircase was finished which was hard work on which was two very warm days here in Newcastle, they really are an asset to your company. Thank you to everyone who worked on our renovation, we are over the moon with it!

I have recently had a bespoke staircase designed and fitted by yourselves, I am so thrilled with the results and the fitting team led by Rhys. The quality of the workmanship is excellent and they were an example of professionalism to work in my home. I would not hesitate  in recommending Jarrods to anyone who is interested in a bespoke staircase installed.

We would like to say that we are very pleased with the results. You and your staff are to be congratulated on the professionalism showed during the installation and your site team proved a great asset to your company.

Jarrods has demonstrated to be an excellent choice of company to upgrade our staircase.

Your company was very attentive to our wishes throughout the process, with numerous phone calls to assure us everything was on track.

Your quotation and ordering system was thoroughly carried out by a site visit of your sales rep and then a couple of weeks later your surveyor visited to take the exact measurements for the installation and he was able to agree any late or minor alterations to the specification.

The installation was completed in 1 day, rather than the two days expected, as the lead carpenter was joined by a colleague and this speeded up the process of installation. Your team were extremely capable and they left our house in an orderly state and mess was minimised throughout the installation.

The upgraded staircase looked just like one the photographs in your brochure.

We would recommend Jarrods to anyone wanting to modernise their staircase – your company did an excellent job and it looks great.

Best regards

Lynda Emmerson and Rod Parker

We had our stair refurbishment project completed by Andrew today. Just a quick note to say a big thank you to all involved. The product is outstanding and the workmanship, work ethic and professionalism throughout the home installation was a credit to the Company and wider team. Georgia and I are delighted with the staircase and finished product. Andrew worked tirelessly over the two days at site, his efforts and work rate were truly excellent and a credit to the Company and his professional training. We wish him and Jarrod’s all the best for a bright future- With thanks Keith & Georgia Evans

What an amazing renovation!

We had tired of our old traditional staircase and wanted to modernise the look of our hallway. The oak and glass panel staircase we have had fitted looks fantastic and is a real feature when you walk into our house.

The workmanship was exceptional and the chap who fitted it on his own (Andrew) was a lovely guy and a credit to Jarrod’s. He finished the whole renovation in three days (and as a bonus there was only minimal decoration required afterwards).

Money well spent!

PS I would also like to say the whole experience from first contact, through to ordering, measuring, arranging the fitting date (which we had to change at the last minute which was no problem) and the fitting itself were all excellent! Even had a call or two from Jarrod just checking things were OK

Staniforth Architects worked with Jarrod and his team to develop a beautifully crafted modern timber stair for a listed Georgian house.

Jarrod and his team were very approachable and accommodating throughout the design and construction process ensuring our original design intent and client aspirations were realised.

We worked closely with Jarrods throughout the project, evolving and resolving details, testing different materials and their finishes, resulting in a carefully considered bespoke stair worthy of the stunning Georgian property.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Jarrods and have been pleased with their service and level of professionalism throughout.

I have just returned home and seen our staircase with new carpet and glazing for the first time and I felt I should write to thank you.
We just love it, and actually are now pleased that we did not opt to change the oak to white.

It has made a huge difference to the landing and hallway and it is so much lighter now.

Thank you so, so much.
Please pass on our thanks to all concerned

Just a note to say how happy we are with the job you did on our staircase this week. Your fitter, Kieran, is exceptionally hardworking, pleasant and polite. He is a credit to the company. We would have no hesitation in recommending you to anybody who was interested in having their staircase refurbished. Thank you for ensuring a painless experience and providing exactly what we wanted and expected.

I have enclosed 3 images of the staircase you recently installed for us, and we are very pleased with the result.

A big thank you to all your team, but especially pass on our thanks to Andrew and Liam. There were most considerate and courteous throughout the installation, and kept their intrusion into our home to a minimum. Their work was of excellent quality.

Very best wishes,

Graham Wheat
